Aeroflot



Aeroflot, also known as Russian Airlines, is the flag carrier and largest airline of Russia, as well as one of Europe’s largest airline carriers. Aeroflot operates domestic and international passenger and services, mainly from its hub at Sheremetyevo International Airport.

Aeroflot currently operates scheduled and limited charter flights to/from a total of 92 airports, across 24 countries. Some destinations are served seasonally as indicated and some routes are operated under the Aer Lingus Regional brand by Stobart Air. The Aeroflot fleet comprises Airbus A320-200, A321-320, A330-200, A330-300, A350-900, Boeing 737-800, 777-300ER, and Sukhoi Superjet 100-95. Most of Aeroflot’s long-haul flights are operated using Airbus A330 aircraft.

Aeroflot is a proud member of the SkyTeam Alliance, offering passengers an expanded range of opportunities. SkyTeam Alliance services over 314 regular destinations to 51 countries - with Aeroflot operating 133 regular routes across 50 countries. PJSC Aeroflot is the Group’s parent company. Aeroflot Group includes Aeroflot – Russian Airlines, Rossiya, Aurora and Pobeda. This multi-brand strategy means the Group can expand its presence in all key market segments on both domestic and international routes. One of the Group’s strongest competitive advantages is its fleet, Aeroflot operates one of the youngest fleets in the world – its planes average 4.2 years, Group planes average 6.5 years. As of the end of 2016, the Group fleet comprised 292 planes, 189 of which are operated by Aeroflot.
