Headquartered in Fiumicino, Rome, Alitalia is the flag carrier of Italy. Its main hub is Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport, Rome, and a secondary is Linate Airport, Milan with other focus airports, Catania-Fontanarossa Airport, Palermo Airport and Naples Airport, and Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza in Albania

Alitalia flies to 74 destinations, including 24 Italian and 50 international destinations, with 3,300 weekly flights. Alitalia has one of the most efficient fleets in the world, boasting long-haul aircraft (Boeing 777-200 LR, Airbus A330-200), medium-haul aircraft (Airbus A321, Airbus A320, Airbus A319) and regional aircraft (Embraer 190 and Embraer 175). Alitalia is a member of the SkyTeam alliance. In 2010 Alitalia joined Air France - KLM and Delta Air Lines as part of the airline industry’s leading Transatlantic Joint Venture.
