Meridiana, legally Meridiana fly S.p.A., is a privately owned Italian airline headquartered in Olbia with its main base at Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport. Meridiana operates scheduled and charter flights to domestic, European and intercontinental destinations from several Italian bases. Meridiana connects the main Italian airports with Sardinia as well as with Mediterranean or Egyptian destinations, like Canary and Balearic islands, Greece and Red Sea.

Meridiana provides chartered and scheduled flight services, and offers medium haul services to various destinations in Italy, Europe, and the Mediterranean basin, as well as Egypt, Greece, the Balearics, Canaries, Israel, and France, as well as long haul services to intercontinental destinations in the Indian Ocean area, such as the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Zanzibar, Mauritius, and Madagascar; Brazil; and the Caribbean. Meridiana’s principal international destinations are USA (New York from Naples and Palermo), Moscow, Mauritius, Kenya, Zanzibar, Madagascar, Cabo Verde, Senegal, Nigeria, Ghana, Santo Domingo, Cuba and Brazil. Meridiana flies to many other destinations including Zanzibar, Athens, Bari, Tel Aviv, Brussels, Cagliari, Catania, Paris, Chisinau, Moscow, Geneva, Bologna, Heraklion, Ibiza, New York, Kos, La Romana, London, Dakar, Madrid, Milan, Male, Valencia, Mykonos, Naples, Verona, Turin, Trieste, Rhodes, Santorini, Saint Petersburg, Palmero, Nice and more. Meridiana has an overall fleet of 20 aircraft consisting of McDonnell Douglas MD82, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737-300 and Boeing 767-300.
